In this series of 7 workshops, Lara will take you through the classic Iyengar approach to sequencing and systematic learning of the different families of asanas which allows the practicer to gradually awaken the body, mind and intelligence to move from the “skin to the soul”.
1. Standing Poses: the standing poses introduce the practitioner to the movements of each and every area of the body. They remove dullness and increase vitality. Standing poses form the basis for all of the other asanas and is the starting point from which me begin to move “from the skin to the soul”. In this workshop we will be visiting a classic sequence from the back of Light on Life and touch all of the standing poses.
